The Strathfieldsaye & Districts Community Grants program is now open to applicants from not-for-profit organisations to support projects in Strathfieldsaye and the surrounding district.
Since 2009, Strathfieldsaye & Districts Community Enterprise (SDCE) has returned more than $385,000 to the local community through community grants, assisting hundreds of community groups throughout the district.
SDCE Chair Catherine Wilby said the grants program aimed to assist community groups to undertake projects that helped make Strathfieldsaye district a great place to live, work and play.
“Our local clubs, groups and associations do tremendous work and we are proud to be able to help them achieve their goals,” Ms Wilby said.
“We have a focus on supporting projects that improve education, health, fitness and wellbeing, infrastructure, arts and culture and opportunities for young people in our region”.
“In the past we have assisted groups from Redesdale, Eppalock, Axedale, Sedgwick, Mandurang, and Longlea as well as Strathfieldsaye and Junortoun”
“Our community grants program runs twice a year and is just one of the many ways we support our community. This support is only possible thanks to generous locals who support our enterprise by tagging their Bendigo Bank and Bendigo Telco accounts to our cause.”
Community grants of up to $5,000 are available to not-for-profit community groups within Strathfieldsaye and Districts. Applications close at 5pm on Monday 17 April 2017
Community groups are encouraged to visit Grants & Sponsorships for guidelines. Applications can also be completed online.
